Kailh Box White Switch – EN71-3 Certificate
Complete Switch Component Testing – Digital Download
This EN71-3 certificate documents chemical safety testing of the Kailh Box White mechanical keyboard switch as a complete component.
The accessible materials tested were:
- White polymer part
- Clear polymer part
- Light grey polymer part
- Light grey part with copper connector
Testing was carried out to EN71 Part 3:2019+A2:2024 for the migration of regulated elements from toy materials. The submitted Kailh Box White Switch passed the requested requirements, including the applicable screening for Chromium VI and the subsequent evaluation of organic tin.
The organic tin result was rated as a pass, with all 11 tested organotin cations reported below 1 mg/kg against a combined limit of 12 mg/kg.
The testing covers the different accessible polymer and metal-containing parts of the switch rather than relying on evidence for only one material. This supports chemical safety due diligence where the switch is incorporated into a toy or another product requiring EN71-3 material evidence.
These TWO certificates are suitable for inclusion in:
UKCA technical files
EN71-3 toy safety documentation
Material and component records
Risk assessments and compliance records
Customer, marketplace, or retailer verification
Digital download.
This certificate applies only to the Kailh Box White Switch matching the tested construction and materials. It does not automatically extend to other Kailh switch types, colours, models or switches manufactured by alternative brands.
