Testing was carried out to EN71-3:2019+A2:2024 for the migration of regulated elements from toy materials.

The cured adhesive samples passed the applicable EN71-3 migration limits for the elements covered by the laboratory testing.

This provides chemical safety evidence for the named adhesives when fully cured. It does not establish the safety of the uncured adhesives or confirm compliance of a completed toy.

Uncured or partially cured adhesive

Mechanical strength, bond durability or the security of glued components
EN71-1 mechanical and physical safety requirements, including soak testing where applicable
Automatic compliance of any finished toy using these adhesives

The certificate relates to EN71-3 chemical migration testing of the fully cured adhesives only.

The manufacturer of the finished toy remains responsible for ensuring that the adhesive is used in accordance with Gorilla's application, curing and safety instructions, and is fully cured before the toy is supplied.

Glued components must be assessed against applicable EN71-1 requirements, including mechanical strength, attachment security, small-parts risks, accessibility after foreseeable use or abuse, and soak testing where applicable.

The manufacturer must also obtain and retain relevant current Safety Data Sheets (SDS), REACH information and other appropriate chemical documentation for the exact adhesive and formulation used.
